We have been getting some good fishing reports today. Seems like Cass has been producing jumbo perch and walleye the last couple of days. Everyone seems to be working that 9 and 10 feet of water. Rapalas are still going and lots of crawlers also. Hope you get a chance to get out and wet your line.
See you out on the water.
Good fishing!

P.S. Don't forget about Rib Fest starting tomorrow. Lots of fun for the whole family!

Fishing Report
July 19,2012
We had a couple guys in this afternoon, who were having good luck on Cass with the walleye. That is good news! Hopefully fishing will pick up. They were using crawlers in about 19 to 20 feet of water.
Get out there and give it a try.

Not too much new to report. Fishing is slow, water temps are right around 80 degrees. Those who are going out are using crawlers and leeches.
Stop by when your in the area.
See you out on the water.

Fishing Report

Fishing has picked up on Winnie. One guy had good luck today in about 22 feet of water, using crawlers. Best fishing since the storm last week. Hopefully other area lakes will be improving too.

Fishing Report
July 10, 2012
Fishing has been slow. Some are getting walleye around 20 to 25 feet, but they are working for them. Still doing the shad raps and rapajas in the evening. That seems to be the best bet. Crawlers and leeches are the main bait.
Clean up after the storm one week ago, is still continuing. Most of the roads are open and power is back on. A couple of the resorts have some work to do on cabins. Norway Beach campground is closed and I don't know when it might open again. That area really got hit hard. It's really amazing that with all the trees that went down, no one was seriously hurt that we have heard about.
Have a good day.
See you out on the water.

Fishing Report
July 4, 2012
Happy 4th of July! We have spent the last couple of days cleaning up after our big storm that went through on Monday evening. Power was out for about a day, so we lost most of our minnows. We had about 8 trees blow down around our house too. With the help of family, friends and neighbors, we are pretty much back to normal, if there is such a thing!
With the warm weather, walleye have slowed down, but payfish and bass are biting. Best bet for the walleye is still shadraps and rapajas, in the evening or spinner rigs and crawlers on Cass. Water temps are right around 80 degrees.
Our DNR printer got fried during the storm, so we are waiting for a replacement, which we should have sometime Friday, so we can print out licenses. Our phone and coffee pot, along that south wall, also no longer work. There are still some residents of Cass Lake and several resorts in the area that are without power. Lots of trees went down, but thankfully, no one was injured.
Hope you all had a good 4th of July.
