Midge Lake is open today and Little Wolf is about half open. The North bays on Andrusia and Big Wolf are open and we are hearing that Allen's Bay on Cass Lake is open also. Sounds like more wind and rain to come in the next couple of days, so that will surely help open up the lakes.

Ice Conditions

Temperatures range from med 40's to mid 30's at night, but with all the rain we are getting the last couple of days and wind, it really is helping open up the ice on the area lakes.
I am thinking that ice will be out by opener, but another 7 days will tell the story. We will keep you informed.
We are all anxious for the opener.

Fishing Report

On the north end of the lakes, ice is out about 20 feet. We are hopeful that we will have open water for opener on May 10th! We have started putting out summer tackle. It has been a long winter and we are all looking forward to a good summer.

Fishing Report

The big snow missed us! Weather has been cool though, so not much melting the last 3 or 4 days. Sounds like it is going to warm up next week and that will change things,
Not many guys going out to fish the last few days. I do see a few boats going by though. I think everyone is anxious for Spring.
All of us at Froggy's wish a very Happy Easter to all of you! Hope you can spend time with family and friends this weekend.

There is plenty of ice and landings are good. Perch have been biting out on Pike Bay and Winnie. With the warmer weather, fishing should continue to improve. We should have a good week or more yet. We will keep you informed on the condition of area landings. Hope you can get out and enjoy ice fishing, now that we have some nice weather.

Fishing Report
A few more guys going out now that the weather is improving. There is still plenty of ice and we have heard no one having trouble getting around on the area lakes. They are picking up perch. Have to pick through them, but we are hearing of some nice 8 to 10 inch perch being caught. The next couple of weeks should be good fishing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CRISSY PHILLIPS. She turns 19 today. We are so proud of you Crissy. Thanks for all the help at Froggy's, when we need you. All our love.
