Fishing Report

July 12, 2011

Still no word on the government settling their differences so we can sell licenses again.

Weather has been great. Water temps on Cass Lake are about 73 degrees. Spot tail shiners are not trapping right now. We do have a river mix and also some redtails in the store, if you are set on using minnows. Leeches and crawlers are going out the door. Guys are still using some minnows out on Cass. Walleye are slow going yet. Seems like they are out deeper during the day, around that 20 to 25 feet and then guys are having some luck throwing shad raps and rapajas at them in the evening, along the weed lines.

Bass, pan fish and northern have been doing well, so that keeps everyone interested. Hope you are able to get out and enjoy this nice weather.

If you get a chance, stop in and check out our Papa Joe jigs!

Good fishing!
