Fishing Report

June 19, 2012

Walleye are not as aggresive. Seems they are feeding on mayflies. Water temps are in the 68 to 70 degree range. Shiners are getting hard to trap with the warmer waters and leeches and crawlers seem to be the ticket. Bass have been biting and muskies seem to be active too. Throwing shad raps and rapajas in the evening are working pretty good for the walleye.

We had a great trip to Fort Benning, Georgia. Good weather, no problems with the car and a good flight back to Minnesota for Mia and Gramma Froggy. The graduation ceremony was awesome, really something to see. We are so very proud of Jerimiah! His next duty is at Fort Hood, Texas. He has a few days leave before he has to report at the end of the week. Time goes so fast.

Stop by when your in the area.

Good fishing!
