Fishing Report

December 18, 2012

We have a good 5 to 6 inches of snow on the ground now and the trees are just beautiful.  It really looks like a winter wonderland!

Ice on most area lakes is averaging 9 to 11 inches.  Guys are using 4 wheelers to go back and forth from their fish houses.  Froggy is busy with his house rentals, shuttling guys back and forth and cleaning fish for them when they come off the lake in the evening.  Guys are picking up a few northern on Cass and Big Wolf.  Sounds like some of the angling houses are getting some perch and walleye also.

Thanks to everyone who has stopped in at Froggy's and brought us :"goodies" for the Christmas season.  I like to bake, so I try to have a little something at the store to pass out too.

Froggy's oldest son, Jerimiah, will be coming home on leave from Fort Hood, Texas, on Friday and Ben, Froggy's youngest son, will be celebrating his l6th birthday, on Thursday, so we  have lots to celebrate this Christmas season.

We wish you all a Blessed Holiday!  We will be closing at 4PM on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day, so we can spend time together with our family.

Merry Christmas to all!
