Well most of the cabins have been buttoned down for the season. They are still finding some walleye deep on Cass, around that 30 to 50 feet. They find them shallower in the evening. Fatheads or rainbows are the minnow of choice.
There are still some crappie and perch fishing going on yet, too. As long as the weather holds out, there will be a few guys out on the lake.
From what we are hearing, duck hunting has been slow. They are picking up a few grouse. Archery hunters are out in the woods, waiting for that big buck and doe.
It is really great to be out, if you can, and enjoy these last great days of fall.
I am hoping to finish our jobs out in Bismarck in the next two weeks and then I will be back around and getting things together for my spear house rentals. I don't know where the summer has gone, but we looking forward to a great winter fishing season.
