Fishing Report
September 13, 2013
First day of the MWC tournament. Weather was beautiful and we heard that the local guys all came in with their 5 walleye. Redtails are worth their weight in gold! Tomorrow is the last day. Hope we can get out to the weigh in around 4:30 and see where everyone stands.
Perch are biting in 8 to 10 feet of water. Walleye are doing okay, but we still are waiting for that water cool down. Water temp is still around 69 degrees. Northern are biting. Muskie have been slow too.
We are waiting for our daughter from Anchorage to arrive this evening. Am hoping to spend as much time with her as we can. It has been 7 years since she has been home. When I talked to her about 4:30, she was in the Minneapolis airport, waiting for their plane to Fargo.
Hope you are all getting a chance to enjoy this great weather. Won't be long and the leaves will be changing colors. Life is great!
Froggy is in the bear stand tonight. Hope he sees something. Small game opens up too tomorrow. Hunting will be difficult with all the leaves still on the trees. Have a good weekend.
See you out on the water.
Good fishing!
