Fishing Report
September 26, 2013
Water temps are still around that 63 degree or so. Walleye are biting, but will pick up as the temp gets to the middle 50 degree range. Perch are biting in that 8 to 10 foot range. Seem to be a lot of perch fishermen out and about. Weather has been great, so it is nice to enjoy it while we can. Getting some fish, just makes it better.
Just letting you know the "Old Toad" has been in the hospital and was discharged this afternoon. He has a blood clot in his right lung and so, getting that dissolved is the top priority. He is in good spirits and just as honry as ever. He is anxious to get back to the store. He is suppose to have limited activity, so we are going to try to get him to go home every afternoon. Moving around is good for him, but just going at it slow for now. Thank you for all the calls and good wishes. He appreciates you all.
Our daughter, Melissa, extended her visit and has been here with us at the hospital and helping out with everything. Thank you to all our family and friends. Froggy, Melissa, Ben, Crissy, Melissa M., Auntie Mitz, Dick H., Doug J. Thanks again to everyone. Special thanks to our daughter's Alaska boss, for letting her stick around to help us out and a special thanks to Alaska's Captain Ed! It was a pleasure having him here.
Hope you will get a chance to get out and enjoy some of this beautiful fall weather.
See you out on the water.
Good fishing!
